I love to try a variety of brands including high-end and drugstores. Both of which I find have good products. Since I have many skin issues including redness and acne as well as combination skin where it gets very dry in places and can get oily easily throughout the day trying to find products that suit my skin can be difficult. I have tried 7 out of these brands found products from all 7 brands that I love. Here are the top 10 makeup brands:




Estee Lauder



The company was founded by Estee Lauder who first launched skin products and then expanded to makeup. They have become well known for its Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 foundation and some of their other products such as their lipsticks and primer.

NYX was founded in 1999 by Toni Ko in Los Angeles and was named after the Greek Goddess of the night. The first products that were developed and sold were jumbo eye pencils which were sold to beauty professionals. It then expanded to mass-market outlets. Maybelline was founded in 1915 by Thomas Lyle Williams in New York. It is owned by the company L’Oréal. He then named the company after his sister Mabel in her honour. He then eventually produced Maybelline Cake Mascara which was the first modern eye cosmetic for everyday use.
